ABOUT US

Righteous Fruit was founded by husband-and-wife team, Stephen and Victoria. Though it was first conceptualised in 2023, our dream finally materialised in 2025 when we both finally decided to go all in. The name reflects the nature of coffee as a fruit that is seasonal, complex, and full of unique qualities depending on varietal and processing method; it also reflects our desire to share, support and empower others to bear good fruit. Through our coffee and art that point back to scripture, we strive to create something meaningful, eternal, and filled with purpose.

Our Story

Victoria's journey in coffee: It began when I moved to Spain in 2013 to open a coffee shop and roaster with my sister. Over the next decade, I gained certifications as an instructor in all five modules of coffee education with SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) as well as my Q-Grader (coffee taster) certification, and continued to develop my skills as a coffee roaster. That chapter came to a close after the lockdowns of 2020- the business closed, and I let my certifications lapse (they aren't cheap after all), but the drive and dream remained.

When we met, Stephen was building his career in food production at a major retailer, but we both felt led to step away from the conventional path and build something together. Our shared vision was to use our skills and experience to not only roast up some great coffee but also bless and encourage others.

As if the name was not a giveaway, Righteous Fruit is grounded and motivated by scripture: to use the gifts the Lord has given, to share generously, and to “occupy till I come.” We are just getting started but our goal and desire is that a portion of our sales be given back to ministries both locally and abroad, ensuring that the business blesses others as it grows.

Our Coffee

Righteous Fruit is committed to sourcing only specialty-grade coffee that has been graded by certified coffee tasters scoring above 80 points out of 100 to meet their standards. This represents just 20% of coffee traded globally. It is for this reason we have set a few standards to preserve the coffee’s natural flavors and honor the hard work of the farmers who grew it:

  1. Our roasting profiles range from light roast to a darker-medium roast and never to a traditional dark roast. Much like the food we cook, when we roast, bake or fry an ingredient to such a degree, you impart roasty, bitter or even smokey flavors and as a result you lose the flavor of the ingredient itself.
  2. We do not offer flavored coffees, and choose instead to let the natural sweetness, acidity, and complexity of the coffee shine.

We roast coffee orders twice a week in small batches to ensure freshness and peak flavor and encourage you to grind your coffee at home just before brewing for the best results.

Our Vision

The vision for Righteous Fruit is to grow this coffee roasting company as well as a faith-driven community. Future goals include supplying local coffee shops with fresh, sustainably sourced, and locally roasted specialty coffee, as well as supporting churches with café outreach ministries by offering coffee, education, and training.

Our mission remains constant: to share good coffee and bear good fruit, both in the cup and in life.
